OUR PROCESS
Our process is simple:

01 / Contact us and we will plan a date to come fly over and image your property.

02 / Our flights typically take a couple of hours, from late morning to early afternoon. This won't obstruct your farming operation, so you can go about your day (or feel free to watch our process!)

03 / You will have your imagery data, that you have decided is appropriate for you, ready and available for download via email the very next day.
OUR QUALIFICATIONS
Our operators are not only educated in geomatics, mapping and geospatial analysis, we are also trained and experienced in the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
UAV/Drone operations are heavily regulated in Canada. We are certified with Transport Canada to fly over any agricultural fields in Saskatchewan through a Special Flight Operators Certificate (SFOC).

OUR EQUIPMENT
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE:
Sensefly eBee SQ Advanced Agricultural Drone

This aircraft is designed with high precision agricultural mapping in mind. It can fly autonomously at up to 400 feet. Its lengthy and stable flight allows the mounted sensor to acquire thousands of high resolution images during a mapping operation.
SENSOR:
Parrot Sequoia Multi-Spectral Sensor
This multi-spectral camera is able to acquire images at the near infrared waveband, which is heavily reflected by healthy vegetation. This advanced sensor is what makes the production of vegetation maps possible.
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE:
Lehmann Aviation LA500 Professional Mapping Drone

This aircraft is designed for high precision mapping. It flies at altitudes of up to 400 feet. Its sturdy flight allows the mounted sensor to acquire precise, high resolution imagery.
PROCESSING SOFTWARE:
Pix4d Mapper Advanced Photogrammetry Software
This software allows us to take the hundreds (or thousands!) of single images gathered during the flight and stitch them into one consice aerial image mosaic.
POST PROCESSING SOFTWARE:
QGIS Geospatial Analysis Software
With this software, we can create useful maps and analyse them in order to determine vegetation levels, and much more!
